Caloundra Driving School

Automatic Driving Lessons

One 2 Pass Driving School Caloundra is located in Nirimba, Caloundra. As a local Caloundra driving school, we offer automatic vehicles for teaching students how to drive safely. We aim to develop a student’s knowledge and understanding of hazard perception, along with driver recognition skills, during each of our informative and interactive Sunshine Coast driving lessons. Our lessons allow students to experience real life driving situations at various locations and at varying times of the day and night.

Students learn techniques and manoeuvres to enhance their driving skills that are also required by the Department of Transport and Main Roads to successfully pass their Queensland Practical Driving Test Assessment. Our goal is to assist each and every student in becoming competent, responsible and safe drivers – for life.

As well as teaching new learner drivers and mature aged students, we also assist International drivers upgrading to an Australian Drivers Licence and seniors wanting to assess their cognitive skills to ensure they meet today’s driving standards. As your local Aura driving school instructor, I often assist students who struggle with varying levels of anxiety and/or other learning difficulties, in a safe, controlled and comfortable environment.

First Driving Lessons:

On initial driving lessons with students we focus on – setting up the “personal driver position”, pre-drive control checks, vehicle operation and hazard recognition skills along with the requirements for successfully passing their practical driving test. A 2-hour intensive driving lesson is the optimal beginning when learning how to drive.

For new (or anxious) drivers, it gives the students extra time to settle their nerves whilst we discuss what we need to achieve, commit and deliver on our very first driving lesson.
