Hi, James here, your friendly One 2 Pass Driving School Instructor in Caloundra.
As per normal on my blogs, I’m going to base this on my own personal opinion or experience and / or supported from sources, facts and / or legislation quoted for driving on Queensland’s roads.
Today I’m going to talk about; How do I become a great driver.
So this is a great topic… I like to discuss many topics of driving with my students. I feel this helps each and every student in their preparation as a safe driver that is looking to successfully pass their practical driving examination test.
The way forward to becoming a great safe driver on Queensland roads, or any roads travelled in Australia or in fact Internationally really comes down to time driving behind the wheel, kilometres traveled and driving at times of the day where elements and conditions are constantly changing where you have to evaluate and re-evaluate decision making on the fly.
Management of your vehicle by an individual, keeping focused whilst avoiding distractions and knowing where all of the vehicles operational controls are and successfully and safely driving your motor vehicle.
Have you ever seen that bumper sticker that says:
Get in, sit down, hold on, be quiet and enjoy the ride?
Having choices and the freedom of driving to make future plans and decisions is an absolute privilege and a luxury. Don’t mess that up!
